Things to know
- Netflix gift cards only work on accounts of the issuing country. A UK card won't apply to a Brazilian or European account.
- The balance is spent automatically on monthly billing. When it runs out, Netflix asks for a payment method.
- The card doesn't cover extra options (such as adding another user to a family plan).
- After redemption the balance is non-transferable and non-refundable.

No. The card is strictly regional and must match the account currency. Netflix also paused service in Russia in 2022 — no cards are issued for the Russian region.
Yes. When signing up, pick 'Gift Card' as the payment method and enter the PIN. If the balance is sufficient, the account activates without a bank card.
The code itself is valid for 12 months from purchase in most countries. Once redeemed, the balance stays on the account indefinitely and is spent with each billing.
